The contradictions and inconsistencies of the Finnish Middle East policy

The Finnish foreign policy towards Israel has long been one of lofty rhetoric but detrimental action. As the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland’s (MFA) handling of the Estelle mission comes off as deeply confusing, and as an Israeli military corporation involved in grave illegalities describes the Finnish decision to award them a massive contract as “winning the Oscars” of mini-drones, the contradictions between the official MFA statements and its de facto policies have never been more salient.
